The platform may process account/contact details, author and affiliation data, ORCID identifiers, manuscripts, peer-review/editorial records, correspondence, invoices, transaction references, support records and security logs.
Use
Information is used for submission, peer review, editorial decisions, production, publication, metadata delivery, billing, payments, fraud prevention, security, research-integrity work, support and legal compliance.
Payment providers
When Cashfree, PayPal or Stripe is used, information necessary to authenticate, process, reconcile, refund or dispute a transaction may be exchanged with the provider and relevant financial institutions. Card credentials should be entered only through approved provider interfaces.
Scholarly record and retention
Published metadata and the Version of Record may remain public as part of the scholarly record. Operational, tax, contractual, security and integrity records are retained as reasonably necessary. Access is role-based and users should not upload unnecessary sensitive personal information.
